MERGE & PURGE:

THE CONCEPT REPORT

The RISC team organized a small group of math educators and university faculty from the country's top schools to explore reducing the length of the traditional Geometry and Algebra II courses, using Common Core standards as a base.

In this section, you will find the summary report and all supporting resources—which are designed to help any teacher or school try it themselves.

Our result wasn't perfect, nor do we believe we have the single best answer. Rather, this exercise is meant to kickstart a national conversation about what can be done.
